The Crime of the Age
Many of you reading this on the Internet know that 9/11 was an inside job.
There is no need to reiterate the evidence for the controlled demolition of the Twin Towers, the mysterious implosion of World Trade Center 7, and the lack of evidence for plane crashes at the Pentagon and Shanksville. Numerous documentaries available on the Internet reveal the conspiracy in exhaustive detail. Loose change, regarded by many as the definitive 9/11 truth video, has been online for over three years.
By now everyone in this country has heard of the 9/11 Truth Movement. Surveys reveal that at least a third of us think elements of our own government carried out the September 11th attacks. That doesn’t mean the other two thirds of Americans have seen the evidence of a conspiracy, and then rejected the idea. Most simply haven’t bothered to investigate for themselves.
That’s the problem. This information is freely available to anyone who gives a damn. You’ve either seen Loose Change, 9/11 Mysteries, or any of the other Internet documentaries that reveal the truth about September 11th, or you haven’t. If you have, then you already know that 9/11 was an inside job. If you haven’t, get online and watch them right now.
I don’t try to convince people that the September 11th attacks were orchestrated by our own regime. All I do is persuade them to watch Loose change. That’s all it takes.
More and more Americans know that the official story of September 11th is a lie. The mainstream media and the powers-that-be desperately want us to go away, to put us back to sleep. Yet despite their best efforts, the 9/11 truth movement is growing.
Bill Mayer got a few laughs recently with a comedy skit called “Conspiracy Weary”. He compared 9/11 truthers to Obama-birthers and moon-landing-deniers. He suggested that without Internet access, we would be eccentric crack-pots, sitting on park benches talking to pigeons.
Van Jones, the Obama administration’s “Green Jobs Czar”, was forced to resign last week because he doubted the official story of September 11th. In 2004, Mr. Jones signed a petition calling for the State of New York to launch a new investigation. Siting evidence that suggested; “people within the current administration may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war”.
Glenn Beck, Fox News Channel’s mouthpiece, led the smear campaign that ousted Van Jones. He derisively referred to Mr. Jones as a marxist, a radical, and worst of all, a truther. Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer opined that, “You can no more have a truther in the White House than you can have a Holocaust denier”.
Why didn’t the Obama administration stand up for their appointee, and respect his right to question 9/11? Because if they had, they would have legitimized the many questions surrounding the events of September 11th, 2001. It is impossible to believe that no one in the Obama administration knows anything about 9/11 truth, certainly not after the resignation of Van Jones.
This week Charlie Sheen wrote an open letter to the President calling for a new 9/11 investigation. He followed up the letter with a video message addressed to Obama that was posted on Youtube, and numerous prominent websites:
“We want our country back Mr. President, therefore I’m not just calling on you I’m calling on your team, I’m calling on each and every American citizen to wake up, stand up, and demand the truth.”
The corporate press immediately brought out their big guns. Bill O’Reilly and Heraldo Rivera called Mr. Sheen “crazy”, brought up his checkered past, and compared 9/11 conspiracies to UFOs. Their comments were not just unprofessional, they appeared cheap, even desperate.
When this crime was committed, there was no way to stream video over the Internet. As long as the mainstream media refused to question the official story, few people could learn the truth about 9/11. Today more of us are watching videos on Youtube, and tuning out corporate media windbags like Glenn Beck and O’Reilly.
The problem the establishment has with the 9/11 truth movement is…it’s true. Our government is a criminal regime, responsible for the mass murder of 3000 American citizens and the hundreds of thousands of people killed and wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. Al Qaeda is a myth, and the war on terror is a lie.
At this point, we have two choices: We can stop pretending the official story is real and start investigating the events of 9/11, or cling to the myth of September 11th to the bitter end.
It’s easy to blame the Bush administration for the September 11th attacks. George Bush and his younger brother Marvin were certainly involved, as were many of the President’s cronies. But this operation took years of planning and would have been impossible without the collusion of the FBI, the CIA, and our military.
Imagine the spectacle of our former President being dragged before a grand jury, a suspect in the mass murder of 3000 Americans. The Justice Department would be prosecuting the FBI and other rogue elements within our own government. There would be hundreds of trials -it would take years.
But that’s what it will take to make the United States of America a Constitutional Republic again.
If we don’t do this, if the Obama administration maintains the fiction of 9/11 at any cost, then America as we know it is already dead. The war on terror will continue, even though the world knows Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda were not responsible for 9/11. Our government will sacrifice more of our wealth, and more of our youth, to maintain our empire abroad.
Here at home we will endure the loss of our civil liberties, poverty, and civil unrest. The “terrorists” held at Guantanamo Bay are being detained forever, without trial, in the name of national security. Soon prisons within the United States will be able to incarcerate suspects indefinitely without charges.
Millions of Americans have lost their jobs, their homes, and their faith in the US government. There is a growing sense of economic malaise, and many of us really fear for the future. More Americans are taking to the streets in protest of our trillion dollar deficits, our unjust wars, and to demand accountability for 9/11.
One way or another America will have to face the truth, and either way it will tear this country apart.
Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Silverstein, and all the other perpetrators have committed the Crime of the Age. They killed America on September 11th, 2001. The only thing worth saving now is the truth.
